DOWNEAST VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION
Because of the geographic distance between to two "pockets" of schools currently offering Girls High School Volleyball in Maine, a growing group of officials are located DownEast and up through the "County". MAVO members who live in that part of the state and are assigned matches at those schools have formed their own regional group called the DownEast Volleyball Officials Association (DVOA), for assigning and training purposes.
All DVOA members are members in MAVO, but not all MAVO members belong to the DVOA.
